Surprise Egg Terms and Conditions of Participation

These Surprise Egg Terms and Conditions of Participation (“Surprise Egg Terms”), govern your use of the Surprise Egg game (“Surprise Egg”). By participating in Surprise Egg, you, as an eligible user (“User”), agree unconditionally and irrevocably to be bound by, and shall be deemed to accept, these Surprise Egg Terms. These Surprise Egg Terms are in addition to the Lazada Terms of Use, the Platform Engagement Tools Terms & Conditions, the Digital Vouchers & Gift Card Terms and Conditions, and the Lazada Privacy Policy, which shall continue to govern your use of the Platform and are incorporated by reference into these Surprise Egg Terms (collectively, the “Terms and
Conditions”). 

Users who participate in Surprise Egg are required to read, understand and comply with the Terms and Conditions described below including changes if any are made by Lazada from time to time. 

1. Rules of Participation  

1.1 Only users who has installed the LAZADA mobile app and has registered for a Lazada customer account with Lazada Singapore Pte. Ltd. (“Lazada”) (the “Users”) may participate in Surprise Egg. Users may access Surprise Egg on the Lazada App only.  

1.2 Users may use the hammer to break the egg in Surprise Egg to collect a Lazada voucher once a day (the “Voucher”). 

1.3 To be eligible for the Jackpot, the User must fulfil the following:  

(a) Users must play Surprise Egg at least three times between 12.00 am on Sunday to 11.59 pm on Friday within the same week (both days inclusive) to be eligible for the Jackpot; and 

(b) Users must play Surprise Egg on the next immediate Saturday between 10.00 am to 11.59 pm (both times inclusive) in order to collect their share of the Jackpot.  

1.4 The Jackpot will be split evenly across all eligible Users. The Jackpot will be released each Saturday at 10.00 am. Each User’s maximum share of each Jackpot released every Saturday is strictly limited to SGD100.00, regardless of the total Jackpot amount. 

1.5 Voucher validity: 

(a) Vouchers, once collected, are credited to the Eligible User’s account and may be viewed in the ‘My Vouchers’ page.  

(b) The Vouchers must be used within the validity period stated on the Vouchers, and are subject to the Voucher’s minimum spending and terms and conditions. For the avoidance of doubt, minimum spending shall not include shipping fees.  

1.6 Lazada has the right to (i) disqualify the User; and / or (ii) refuse or cancel the provision of vouchers or any amount pursuant to the Jackpot, if the User is suspected of fraudulent behavior, or cheating or violating these Terms and Conditions in any form. 

1.7 Users may not participate in Surprise Egg or allow participation in Surprise Egg in any way that could have a negative impact on the participation of Users, or other Participants in Surprise Egg, or the goodwill or reputation of Lazada. 

2. Other Terms and Conditions  

2.1 The Terms and Conditions of Surprise Egg are determined entirely by Lazada and at its sole discretion Lazada reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions of this Surprise Egg and communicate it through Lazada's own media. Lazada's decision regarding Surprise Egg is final and cannot be contested. 

2.2 Vouchers received by Users are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, either in whole or in part. 

2.3 Each Voucher may be used with other vouchers issued by Sellers or Banks. For the avoidance of doubt, the Voucher may not be used with other Vouchers issued by the Lazada Platform.  

2.4 Each Voucher may be redeemed on the Lazada mobile application (iOS and Android) only.  

2.5 Unless otherwise stated, Vouchers do not apply to the following: 

(a) Stage 1 and 2 (0 to 12 months) infant formula and milk products; 

(b) contact lenses; 

(c) over the counter (OTC) medicine; 

(d) fine jewellery/ gold;  

(e) digital goods; 

(f) delivery charges or fees; and 

(g) where otherwise legally restricted from selling or discounting. 

2.6 Lazada reserves the right to verify the validity of any Voucher and to declare null and void and charge full price for items purchased, any Voucher that in Lazada’s opinion has been stolen, duplicated, tampered with, broadcasted inappropriately, or which is suspected to have been misappropriated or fraudulently obtained or used. Lazada shall not be liable or responsible for any fraud or unsuccessful transactions made using Vouchers. 

2.7 

(a) Where the User is permitted to return any product to Lazada for a refund/credit or when the order with the use of the Voucher is cancelled and such product was originally
purchased under a promotion or discount or the use of the Voucher, the User will only be refunded the amount that the User originally paid for such product. Further, any free promotional gift given with an order must also be returned if the User is returning the product(s) to which the gift related.  

(b) If the total order value is reduced below the value of the qualifying free delivery or any promotion qualification because of a returned item, Lazada may charge the delivery fee and/or the full value of the order without the promotion. 

2.8 Lazada reserve the right to discontinue any promotion, discount, Vouchers, program, contest, privileges or program at any time without notice or liability. 

2.9 Lazada will not be responsible for non-performance, error, interruption or delay in carrying out its obligations under the Terms and Conditions (or part thereof) or inaccuracy, unreliability or incompatibility of Surprise Egg if this is caused, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly by events or failures that are beyond Lazada's reasonable control. 

2.10 Lazada acknowledges and agrees that Apple is not involved in and has no responsibility in relation to the operation of Surprise Egg. Any comments, queries or claims relating to Surprise Egg shall be addressed to Lazada only and not to Apple.
